Françoise Maurel is an artist based in Aquitaine, France. She holds a Fine Arts degree from the University of Seville (Spain) and specialised in painting at the University of Palermo (Italy).

Painting allows her to express her emotions with complete honesty. Her approach is intuitive and spontaneous, driven by color and white space. Her work centres on the present moment. She plays with shape and texture to evoke the many forms of life that move within her.
